Light at the Farm is back!
This fall break, De Goudse Hofsteden Petting Zoo is once again hosting “Light at the Farm”: a special light show in the dark. “Light at the Farm” is a unique evening event for all ages, where you can experience the petting zoo in a way you never normally would!
During Light at the Farm, as soon as darkness falls, the petting zoo transforms into a special experience full of light, sound, and surprises. The entire farmyard is illuminated and decorated especially for these evenings. Music, sound, smoke, and fog effects create a unique atmosphere and make the experience complete. New lighting effects have been added, and there is once again plenty of new things to see and discover on the farmyard. Some new additions are even quite impressive in size… while others are very small and less noticeable. So be sure to look around carefully! There are also fun moments and spots to take photos, and at some places, you can become part of the experience yourself.
You’re welcome to join us every evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., it’s still twilight. It’s during the first time slot, in particular, that you’ll see it slowly getting dark and all the lights on the grounds gradually coming to life.
To spread out the crowds at the entrance as much as possible, they’ve set up time slots for arrival. The time slot you reserve only determines what time you enter. After that, you’re of course welcome to stay until the end of the evening.
The arrival time slots are:
6:30–7:00 p.m.
7:00–7:30 p.m.
7:30–8:00 p.m.
8:00–9:00 p.m.
