Are your favorite jeans torn and can you really not wear them anymore? Don't throw them away just yet!
Bring your old jeans to the Tech Workshop and turn them into a fun stuffed animal during fall break. You decide what your stuffed animal will look like. A silly creature, a soft little friend, or something else entirely? It’s up to you!
There are several ways to make the stuffed animal: with a sewing machine, with a needle and thread, or simply with a glue gun. That way, you'll quickly discover which method works best for you.
Don't have any old jeans? No problem! We have fabric and old jeans ready to go at the Tech Workshop.
Want to join in?
Parents, guardians, and grandparents are welcome to join in the fun, but it’s not required. Would you like to get creative with your (grand)child? Then you’re more than welcome, and there’s no extra charge.
Practical Information
The door to the Technology Workshop opens 10 minutes before we start. We begin at 10:00 a.m.
Running a little late? No problem! Feel free to come in and find a spot. Please wait a moment until one of our staff members has time to welcome you and explain what we’ll be doing. Then you can get started right away!
