The IJsselhuis is a welcoming home for poets from Gouda. “Poets on Thursday” is an evening filled with wordsmiths who recite their own work. A few Thursdays each year, poets and others gather at the IJsselhuis in Gouda. Live music is featured during the breaks.
Theme: Laundry
5:00 p.m.: Open for dinner (on “Poets on Thursday” evenings until 7:30 p.m. at the latest, after which the tables are cleared away and the restaurant transforms into a small theater dedicated to the spoken word).
8:00 p.m.: Doors open for "Poets on Thursday"
8:30 p.m.: Start of "Poets on Thursday"
End: until we get kicked out
