Concert by the Coro d'Oro Chamber Choir - "Away from Home"

Coro d'Oro will once again present its annual "Grand Concert" at the Agnietenkapel, this time with the theme "Away from Home."

What happens to music when a composer leaves his homeland behind? What sounds emerge when homesickness, hope, and new influences come together?

In our annual grand concert, we'll take you on a journey. "Away from Home" tells the story of composers who left their homelands and wrote new choral works in a language foreign to them. Music that balances between memory and discovery, between the familiar and the unknown.

The program consists of a varied selection of choral works, some performed a cappella and others accompanied by Mary Lovell on the piano.

Ticket sales: Tickets cost €19.50 per person; children 12 and under are free.
Includes a program booklet, coffee or tea with a treat during intermission, and a snack and drink after the show.
