The Goudse Schouwburg aims to move people and spark conversations through art and culture. We offer performing arts for everyone, regardless of background or age, and we strive to make our programs as accessible as possible.
We listen closely to what’s happening in Gouda and develop new programs for the city in collaboration with Gouda residents and local partners. For example, we work with a programming council for young people and for the Thursday matinees. With over 300 theater performances, there’s something for everyone. Shed a tear at the spectacular musical comedy Aletta the Musical, featuring Desi van Doeveren and Gaia Aikman, among others. Come enjoy poetic lyrics and the unique voice of singer-songwriter Blaudzun. Expand your soccer knowledge and learn more about the upcoming World Cup during Hard Gras.
