Festival de Verwondering creates final show with the city and seeks Gouda residents to participate

The fifth edition of Festival de Verwondering will take place from Thursday, September 17, through Saturday, September 19. To conclude the festival, a special final show will be staged on Saturday: a performance with the city, for the city. The organizers are looking for residents who would like to participate. 

Anyone who has always wanted to be part of a special theater experience can now sign up. During the festival, residents will work together with professional creators on a spectacular closing performance. You can sign up via an online form. 

The festival is looking for residents who want to participate in the big final show on Saturday. Under the guidance of theater makers Evert Josemanders (Theater Popidou) and Friso van Vemde (Ashton Brothers), you will work on special characters and scenes in the story of the performance. For those interested, the festival is organizing an information evening at the end of March. During this meeting, the organization will tell you more about the festival, the final show, and the different ways in which residents can participate. 

The festival is an initiative of the Goudse Schouwburg and marks the annual opening of the cultural season in Gouda. The program is developed in collaboration with Museum Gouda, Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij, Bibliotheek Gouda, and many other professional and amateur creators from the city.
