47th edition of the Gouda Farmstead Days: May 30 and 31!
The 47th edition of the Gouda Hofstedendagen will take place on May 30 and 31, 2026. This festive event is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and takes place along the historic Bloemendaalseweg in Gouda. Residents and organizations along the historic Bloemendaalseweg will open their courtyards and offer fun activities.
During this free event, everyone can experience the diversity and many different facets of one of the few remaining peatland corridors within a city: a beautiful rural road lined with old farmhouses leading to the city center.
Many courtyards will host activities for all ages. Highlights include performances by various music groups, such as the Vlister Men’s Choir, Ceacilia, and Miss Starling; crafts like woodworking and pottery; demonstrations with ponies and horses; information on nature and green spaces; a creative zone; and stalls selling products. The Forgotten Greengrocer will be there with (forgotten) vegetables, photo exhibitions, a plant market at multiple locations, and more. There are also plenty of activities for children, such as games, pony rides, inflatable play areas, an obstacle course, boat rides, face painting, rappelling, and scavenger hunts. The book bike will read fun and exciting stories on Saturday. There will be DJ workshops on site; Robbie Schoorl from ROBBOXX will teach you how to make your own rap! Everyone is welcome!
There’s plenty to choose from when it comes to food and drinks—from mini pancakes to french fries, from hot dog buns to ice cream, there’s something for everyone. This year’s opening will take place on Saturday, May 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bloemendaal Riding Club. The opening ceremony will be led by Councilman Thierry van Vugt and Youth Councilwoman Isabel.
