Groenhovenpark nature playground
This is possible at the Groenhovenpark nature playground. Here, adventurous play equipment has been installed, such as a cable car, tree houses, and a climbing wall. In addition, there is much more to discover: building huts, crawling through willow tunnels, sliding down hills, or enjoying blackberries and apples. Alderman Wendy Ruwhof (Urban Management): "This nature playground is a great opportunity for children to safely and playfully experience nature. I recently saw a list of 50 things children should do before they turn twelve. It included climbing a tree, rolling down a hill, eating wild blackberries, and digging for treasure. I am delighted that we can now offer children in Gouda this challenge at no fewer than three nature playgrounds. I wish them lots of fun discovering them!"
