Groenendaal District

The Groenendaalkwartier is a unique area to explore, featuring small independent shops—there isn’t a single chain store on the street. It offers a wide selection of vintage and sustainable goods and has proudly been designated the first Fairtrade Street in the Netherlands. This area in downtown Gouda boasts a very high concentration of Fairtrade shops. The Groenendaalkwartier consists of Lange Groenendaal, Korte Groenendaal, and Naaierstraat.
