Hop on your bike and discover the Old Dutch Waterline with the latest cycling route.
The new cycle route passes various archaeological highlights in the center of the Waterline. Via the beautiful cycle path along the Oude Rijn, the route goes past Fort Wierickerschans to Zwammerdam, where both hidden traces and visible scars of the Disaster Year can be seen. The route follows the road that William III took in June 1672 from the army camp via Reeuwijk to Gouda.
