Wow, what peace and space! At farmer Wilco and farmer’s wife Durkje’s farm, you’ll discover a traditional dairy farm set in a quintessentially Dutch polder landscape. From your tent, you’ll look out over the pastures dotted with little ditches and see nothing but grazing cows, sheep, and meadow birds. And while you enjoy the peace and quiet, the kids will be playing for hours in the super-cool Water Fun Meadow.
When the weather’s bad, they head up to the big play loft or have a hay fight in the hay barn. For the real cuddle lovers, the bunnies in the big Cuddle Barn are the best. In the milking parlor, Farmer Wilco takes the time to teach the kids how to milk a cow, while Farmer’s Wife Durkje uses the fresh milk to make delicious ice cream with the children.
Sundays are family time for the farm family, so no extra activities are organized. But of course, you’re welcome to play and cuddle with the animals to your heart’s content on Sundays.
