Hi, my name is Anna Green, and I had a dream.
In fact, I DO have a dream. A dream of more greenery in every world, of special greenery in your world.
I fell in love with Gouda, with its canals, quaint shops, and friendly people. I fell in love with the little building on Zeugstraat where Dromen van Groen is located.
I had a few guidelines for the design:
- Completely circular; I don't own a single piece of newly produced furniture
- As many products as possible from local businesses; both the plants and the artisanal products come from the local area or from the Netherlands.
- I mainly work with small business owners who make and sell artisanal botanical products on sites like EtsyNL or through small online stores and at trade shows.
- I am deeply committed to social causes, which means I really enjoy working with others, I have a soft spot for people who contribute to society in their own way, and I’m not the type to push for the absolute maximum. I believe in fair compensation, fair prices, and working hard for my money.
