Camping Streefland has a rich history and has long been a favorite spot for campers who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature in the heart of the Krimpenerwaard. What once began as a farm campground has grown into a charming family campground with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In the early years, an old cowshed was converted into a cozy canteen. Summer evenings were spent here with parties among the bales of straw, where guests gathered to enjoy live music, games, and delicious food. The rural atmosphere and relaxed, friendly ambiance made Camping Streefland a unique place where everyone felt at home.
Over time, the campground grew, and it was time for a renovation. In June 2020, construction began on a new entrance building, which not only replaced the old cafeteria but also introduced new facilities. The modern building, designed in the style of a traditional farm barn, now houses a reception area, a cafeteria, a lunchroom, and small meeting rooms on the upper floor.
Although the campground has evolved over the years, it has retained its authentic charm. Camping Streefland remains the place where young and old come together to enjoy the outdoors, hospitality, and the beautiful surroundings.
Our log cabins offer the perfect balance between adventure and comfort. They’re ideal for a cabin-to-cabin tour or a cozy stay with your family. With their cozy atmosphere and practical layout, the cabins are an affordable alternative to a tent, yet they offer that little bit of extra luxury.
Sports facilities: At Camping Streefland, you certainly won't be sitting around—you can let loose on the soccer field or volleyball court, or during a game of table tennis.
Playground facilities: There is a nice, cozy playground at the entrance to the campground, with swings and a slide.
Camping Club: The entertainment team organizes plenty of fun activities during the holidays. From arts-and-crafts mornings, scavenger hunts, volleyball and soccer tournaments to hexathlons and much more. Activities for all ages.
