Crazy Saturday - a medieval festival for the whole family
On the first Saturday of fall break, medieval jesters take over Gouda’s city center. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the Jester Parade sets off from the Garenspinnerij toward St. John’s Church. Then the festivities kick off with medieval music, street theater, the medieval market (featuring 50 artisans!), comedy skits, and of course, food and drink. Come enjoy this festival for the whole family, featuring crazy street entertainment, martial arts , a scavenger hunt, puppet shows, and magicians—all with a playful nod to Erasmus!
