On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the very first Young Makers Fest will be held at the Maak Ministerie on GOUDasfalt. Here, the newest generation of creative makers will have the opportunity to share their own creations. Whether it’s exhibiting art, selling handmade items, leading a workshop, demonstrating your homemade technological creation, or putting on a musical performance—anything goes, as long as it’s homemade!
Young creators between the ages of 12 and 27, regardless of skill level—whether you're just starting out or already have experience—are invited to participate. You can enter the following categories, among others:
- ART: Exhibit your paintings, illustrations, photographs, or sculptures;
- CRAFT: Sell your own clothing, upcycled items, jewelry, or furniture;
- TECH: Give a demo of your game, app, 3D prints, or latest invention;
- MUSIC: Show off your talent as a singer-songwriter, DJ, or rapper.
Are you doing something completely different? No problem—as long as you create it yourself! Participation is 100% free, and we may be able to offer a small expense allowance for a workshop or performance.

The Young Makers Fest isn’t just an inspiring gathering place for young makers—it’s also free for anyone who wants to get to know the latest generation of makers, find inspiration, and support local talent. On Sunday, October 25, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., you can browse the booths, participate in workshops, enjoy live music, and experience the maker culture at the Maak Ministerie.
