Jacoba is a unique figure in the history of Holland. She was one of the few women to hold her own in a male-dominated world. In 1425, Gouda Castle became her headquarters. From there, she went to war against her enemies.
How did that turn out for her? And what did this fiery woman bring to Gouda—good times and bad?
