A beautiful canal tour with the Jan Salie or Jan Kordaat towboats through the monumental city center of Gouda. The tour follows the historic waterway through the city, which from the early Middle Ages was the only connection for trade between Flanders and Dutch cities. The tour is accompanied by the skipper with historical facts and anecdotes.

Wednesdays and Fridays: 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Thursdays and Saturdays: 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
* During fall break, we’ll be sailing on Wednesday, October 22; Thursday, October 23; Friday, October 24; and Saturday, October 25.
Duration: approximately one hour (depending on the passage under the many beautiful bridges)
The guide will provide commentary from the deckhouse (will not walk to the front of the boat). However, you can also read all the information in an information sheet.
You must be able to board the boatindependently.

11:00 a.m.: board at the jetty at Oosthaven 13 and disembark at the Museum Harbor.
12:30 p.m.: board at the Museum Harbor, Buurtje 1 and disembark at Oosthaven 13.
2:00 p.m.: board at the jetty at Oosthaven 13 and disembark at the Museum Harbor.
3:30 p.m.: Board at Museumhaven, Buurtje 1 and disembark at Oosthaven 13.
