The Gouda Ice Rink is an annual event on Gouda’s Market Square and has become an integral part of winter in Gouda. Due to the renovation of City Hall, the ice rink will not be located around City Hall this year, but will return in its familiar form, complete with cozy hot drinks and treats. This quintessentially Dutch event guarantees ice skating fun for tens of thousands of skating enthusiasts. The Gouda Ice Rink offers skating fun and a cozy atmosphere on the Market Square right in the heart of Gouda. It’s a fairy-tale scene with an Anton Pieck-like charm. Little children take their first tentative steps on the ice, teenagers attend skating clinics, and grandparents glide arm in arm across the ice.

Cozy Koek & Zopie
Next to the Gouda Ice Rink is the cozy Koek & Zopie. Here you have a unique view of the Gouda Waag, City Hall, and the ice rink. A wonderful spot to warm up after skating or to enjoy watching the children play on the ice.
