The GOUDasfaltloop is an annual running event in Gouda, organized by the GOUDasfalt Foundation and Go Sportief. The first edition took place in 2016 and attracted more than a hundred participants. Since the third edition, the routes for the longer distances have remained unchanged and run through the Veerstalblok polder toward Gouderak. The finish line is located on the GOUDasfalt grounds near the tree planters, heading toward the Jan van Hoof Scouting building.
The KidsRun takes place on GOUDasfalt’s large grounds and consists of short laps around the grounds. For the longer distances, fixed courses have been marked out that run mostly outside the grounds.

The 14th edition of the GOUDasfaltloop will take place in and around Gouda on Sunday morning, October 18. Following the Go For Gold KidsRun at the GOUDasfalt grounds, the starting gun for the 10-kilometer race will go off at 11:00 a.m., followed by the 5-kilometer race starting at approximately 11:05 a.m.
Just like in previous editions, the 5- and 10-kilometer courses head toward the beautiful Veerstalblok polder, located just behind Gouderak. Runners who wish to do so can take the median strip for about 7 kilometers, allowing them to run a large portion of the 10-kilometer course on trail-like terrain. The finish line is at the GOUDasfalt grounds.
For those who want to run the 10-kilometer race in just under an hour, “Kees Pace” will once again be there as the pacer. So, “run with Kees Pace.”
You can store your luggage under cover, but do so at your own risk (so don't bring any valuables with you). Tip: Label your bag at home with a sticker or tag that has your first name on it.
The KidsRun consists of one or more laps (up to 10 or until the bell rings) of approximately 240 meters on the GOUDasfalt grounds. It starts around 10:30 a.m. The 10- and 5-kilometer races start at 11:00 a.m. and 11:05 a.m., respectively. Participants in the KidsRun will receive a really cool certificate and a tasty Gouda surprise afterward!
The entry fee is €12.00 and €13.00 for the 5- and 10-kilometer races, respectively, and €5.00 for the Kids Run if you register before October 14. Starting October 15, you’ll pay an additional €2.50 entry fee for the 5- and 10-kilometer races and €1 more for the Kids Runs.
