The Gouda Sports and Games Festival—Ages 5 to 12
The Gouda Sports and Games Festival—for ages 5 to 12—is an activity for all children ages 5 and up and runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Parents do not need to buy a ticket; they can enter for free. If there are no more tickets available online, the event is sold out. In that case, no individual tickets can be purchased at the door.
There’s plenty to do and experience again this morning. You can climb, scramble, swing, and jump on the bouncy castle, and there’s plenty of sports and play equipment.
Take part in various activities and try, among other things, a gymnastics clinic offered by the gymnastics club Velocitas and/or a self-defense clinic from The Krav Maga Firm. There are also games to play, such as shuffleboard, hole soccer, hoop ball, and the minefield game. There’s even a panna cage!
There is also a designated hour for children who have difficulty handling crowds and/or too many stimuli. During this low-stimulus hour, all rooms are open to the children, so there is no age restriction or separation between the rooms. The atmosphere will be calmer, allowing the children to have fun without being overwhelmed by too many stimuli. There is no music, and the activity groups are smaller than usual. Tickets for this hour are available separately.
Photos may be taken during this activity. If you do not want your child to be photographed, you can pick up a wristband at the entrance.
For safety reasons, we ask that you have your children wear indoor shoes or non-slip socks. Bare feet are also allowed.
