Farewell Concert for Leo Rijkaart and Martin van Broekhoven, Toonkunst Plus Gouda
This is the last time Leo Rijkaart will conduct; after this, he will begin enjoying his retirement. Martin van Broekhoven, Toonkunst Plus’s regular pianist and rehearsal pianist, is also performing with the ensemble for the last time, as he, too, is retiring.
For nearly 30 years, Leo and Martin have devoted their best efforts to Toonkunst Plus with great enthusiasm. To bid them a fitting farewell, the choir will perform Rossini’s *Petite Messe Solennelle*, with two pianists—Martin van Broekhoven and the choir’s new pianist, Seth Heeren—and Aart Bergwerff (harmonium) playing their parts.
There are four soloists: Nicole Fiselier (soprano), Eline Welle (alto), William Knight (tenor), and Hans Christian Hinz (bass).
Together, we're going to make this a wonderful concert that everyone will look back on with great pleasure.
