WIES, Pitou, LUWTEN & Naaz, and more at the first edition of the PopMonument music festival in Gouda

Following several sold-out events in other cities, PopMonument is coming to Gouda for the first time on Saturday, February 15. Together with Poppodium So What!, the Goudse Schouwburg will transform the city into a stage where music, art, and heritage come together. With the first musical acts confirmed—WIES and Pitou, LUWTEN & Naaz—ticket sales have already begun.

WIES has previously performed at So What! Open Air and combines sharp Dutch lyrics, raw energy, and catchy pop songs into an irresistible live show. WIES is developing two unique sets for the Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam: intimate, narrative songs and a high-energy set that barely fits on stage. PopMonument is thrilled to bring these two special sets exclusively to Gouda. Pitou, LUWTEN, and Naaz are joining forces for a unique music project that brings their distinctive styles and voices together. In an intimate and innovative collaboration, they explore themes such as vulnerability, strength, and connection. 

Expect an enchanting blend of harmonies and personal stories that will touch your heart. PopMonument offers the perfect mix of alternative pop, jazz, world music, and local heritage. The festival invites you on a unique journey of discovery filled with inspiration, culture, and engagement with Gouda’s rich history. Historic venues such as De Waag, Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij, So What!, and De Goudse Schouwburg will serve as the backdrop for intimate performances and a surprising film and art program.
