Tickets for the new theater season at the Goudse Schouwburg go on sale next week, on May 21, but you can already view the program at www.goudseschouwburg.nl. The new lineup features a wide range of performances: from nationally and internationally renowned artists and up-and-coming talents to new editions of in-house productions and familiar program series.
This coming season, the theater will welcome performances by Valentina Toth, Ruth Jacott, Esther van der Voort, Pepijn Schoneveld, Niels Geusebroek, Bastiaan Ragas, Klaas van der Eerden, Jay Francis, Juf Braaksel, Woezel & Pip, 101 Dalmatians, Slijm Musical, Proefkeuken, Kasper van der Laan, André Kuipers, and Herman van Veen. In addition, an important role is reserved for in-house programming. New and returning series such as the Agnietensessies, Klassiek op Zondag, 3x 30 Nieuwe Makers, Comedy Club, and Jazzy Sunday Afternoon form a recognizable and contemporary addition to the regular lineup.
To mark the launch of the new program, the theater is organizing a festive season presentation on Monday, May 18. During this evening, director Tineke Maas and programmer Alex Mooren will provide an overview of the upcoming season’s lineup. The evening will feature various live previews and offer visitors the opportunity to reserve tickets for these previews afterward.
The season brochure will be distributed door-to-door in Gouda and the surrounding area starting Wednesday. Those interested who do not receive a brochure can pick one up starting May 14 at the Tickets & Service desk of Cinema Gouda on Burgemeester Jamessingel.
Ticket sales for the new season begin on Thursday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m., both online, by phone, and at the box office. Friends of the Goudse Schouwburg have priority and can order tickets starting Monday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m. Visitors can still become a Friend for the upcoming season to take advantage of this benefit.
