New in Gouda: Oranje Geluk Festival brings Dutch-language music to GOUDasfalt
Gouda – On Saturday, August 30, the very first edition of the Oranje Geluk Festival will take place at GOUDasfalt. This brand-new festival is organized by Gouds Geluk, the organizer of King’s Night, King’s Night, King’s Day, Gouds Geluk Festival, and Undercover Festival Gouda. Featuring both well-known names like Marco Schuitmaker and Robert van Hemert as well as local talent, it will be a celebration of familiarity, where visitors can sing along at the top of their lungs to the biggest Dutch-language hits.
The organizers are pulling out all the stops with a lineup full of well-known artists. The lineup includes Marco Schuitmaker (known for the song “Engelbewaarder”), Robert van Hemert (known for the song “Zoet, Zout, Zuur”), Billy Dans (known for his participation in Expeditie Robinson), Qmusic Het Foute Uur, and Senna (known for the song “Kleine Vogel”) will be on stage. In addition, there is plenty of room for local acts, such as Jason Bouman’s Hazes Tribute, Willy Romeijn, DJ JOR-D, and various DJs in the silent disco.
Dutch-language music more popular than ever
It’s impossible to miss: Dutch-language music dominates the
charts and festival stages. “All over the country, people are singing along
en masse to Dutch hits these days, and we want to bring that sense of togetherness to
Gouda as well. The Oranje Geluk Festival will be a celebration where we’re putting extra effort
into atmosphere, fun, and togetherness,” says Gino Bakker of Gouds
Geluk.
Ticket sales have begun for “
”
Ticket sales have now begun, and the initial response
has been overwhelming. “We’ve rarely received so many questions and messages about a new
event,” according to the organizers. There are 3,000 tickets available,
and those who act fast can take advantage of a limited number of discounted Early Bird tickets.
Group tickets are also available, allowing groups to
take advantage of a discount.
