ROOK is located on the Hollandsche IJssel between Gouda and Moordrecht. This restaurant has recently undergone extensive renovations and now features a fresh, contemporary concept centered around sports and BBQ dishes.
The menu features mainly sandwiches, finger foods, unique burgers, and dishes from the massive Black Basterd BBQ. This massive kamado, along with a Smokey Joe, adds that extra flavor to baby ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and salmon smoked to order.
ROOK is open 7 days a week for a coffee break, lunch, a casual drink, or whenever you just want to enjoy a nice meal—but especially when you have something big to celebrate. IJsselweide is also an official wedding venue recognized by the municipality of Gouda. You can exchange vows at a unique location—outdoors, on the grass, or on the water—anything is possible!
