During the May break, various activities will be organized at De Goudse Hofsteden petting zoo. Every day, children can come to the café to do crafts—from coloring pictures to painting a piggy bank—there’s something for everyone. No registration is required for these activities. For the other activities, you can sign up via the website. You can also enjoy a meal at the farm in Deel, including fresh sandwiches, delicious pancakes, and mini pancakes.

A special morning for animal lovers will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During this morning, children ages 4 to 10 can help care for the animals alongside the animal caretaker, meet the animals in the petting area, play fun games, and do crafts. We’ll wrap up with a delicious pancake and a glass of milk or lemonade!

Who Dares?? In the morning, a number of unique animals will be visiting the Exotus Serpenti petting zoo. From 10:00–11:00 a.m. or from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., you can learn all about these unique animals under the guidance of one of their animal caretakers. There is a maximum number of participants. This is a parent-child activity.
The Pony Afternoon takes place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Children will help take care of the ponies and donkeys, make a fun pony craft, and bake a pony cupcake.

Craft time. Children can choose from various crafts on the table and can paint them or decorate them with foam. 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
In the afternoon, children can have their faces painted between 2:00 and 3:30 p.m.

Today, some special animals are coming to visit: owls and birds of prey! From 10:15–11:15 a.m. or from 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m., you can learn all about these special animals under the guidance of an animal caretaker from Uil Topia. There is a maximum number of participants. This is a parent-child activity. As a parent, you are also required to pay for participation.
Afternoon Mosaic Workshop, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A fun workshop where you’ll work with small tiles, foam clay, and various figures and animals made from different materials of your choice to decorate. Ages 4 and up. Would you rather just work with foam clay? That’s fine too!

Van 10.30 – 11.30 uur de dreumes- en peuterochtend georganiseerd op kinderboerderij De Goudse Hofsteden. De allerkleinste kinderen (< 4 jaar) gaan samen met papa, mama, opa of oma kleine dieren knuffelen in de knuffelhoek en dieren voeren onder begeleiding van een dierverzorger. Daarnaast maken ze een klein knutseltje.
In the afternoon (1:30–3:00 p.m.), children can create a mini vegetable garden. They’ll paint the garden box, fill it with soil, and plant and sow seeds.
