On Sunday, March 29, Jan Geerink of the Rainbow Alliance Gouda will lead the Gouda Rainbow Walk. This event begins at 12:00 PM at the Chocoladefabriek Gouda, where we will first view the mini-exhibition by the Midden-Holland Regional Archives on queer history in the Gouda archives. Not only documents, but also buildings, events, and personal stories are part of the growing heritage of the LGBTQIA+ community in Gouda. During the Rainbow Walk, Jan Geerink will take participants past places in the city center connected to this history. Along the way, he will share the stories behind these locations and his own experiences. The walk lasts up to an hour and a half and ends at the Huis van de Stad on Burgemeester Jamessingel, right next to Gouda.
