StoryTrail is back in Gouda with a brand-new Theater Walk! On Sunday afternoon, April 12, storyteller Godefridus will take you on an adventure through the city’s history. This storytelling walk focuses on one of the most fascinating figures in Gouda’s history: Countess Jacoba of Bavaria.
Through winding alleys and along dark canals, Godefridus takes you back to the early 15th century. At that time, Jacoba of Bavaria ruled Gouda. As you wander through the historic city center, you’ll join Godefridus in searching for the traces she left behind in Gouda. Bitter struggles, glorious triumphs, and spectacular failures: together with the narrator, you’ll experience it all.
