King's Run in Groenhoven Park
On King’s Day, Monday, April 27, runners, Nordic walkers, and recreational walkers are invited to participate in the King’s Run at Groenhovenpark in Gouda. The Gouda Cross-Country Skiing Club and the Goudse Runners are jointly organizing this event. Everyone is welcome to join, as the run is suitable for beginners, walkers, and more experienced runners alike.
Runners will complete 3, 6, or 9 laps of 1,100 meters, while Nordic walkers and hikers will complete 4 or 7 laps of 700 meters. There is also a kids’ run, consisting of 1 lap of 1,100 meters. Fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers are welcome to accompany their children or grandchildren during the kids’ run.
The race starts at exactly 9:00 a.m. from the Cross-Country Ski Club’s ski hut, which can be reached via the path to the left of the Groenhovenbad. The €5 entry fee can be paid at the ski hut before the race begins, and changing rooms are available. Youth pay €3.
