The two editions of Jamsessies Gouda are moving from Houtmansplantsoen to GOUDasfalt, bringing a mix of funk, jazz, blues, hip-hop, flamenco, and rock—live and straight from the heart of the city.
The concept is simple and powerful: no auditions, no set program, just free improvisation and spontaneous creativity. Whether you sing, rap, play an instrument, or just come to listen: everyone is welcome. The jam sessions are specifically intended for young musicians, but older music enthusiasts are also warmly invited to join in. Led by the colorful Norbadenco & Friends, a singer and guitarist from Gouda with Moroccan roots and a passion for musical cross-pollination.
The jam sessions are a follow-up to the successful series held in 2022, which originated during Gouda750. Organizer Marcel Kamphuis is looking forward to the new editions: “Expect a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse group of musicians who will kick off the weekend with music. Bring your instrument and just join in. It’s accessible, spontaneous, and above all, a lot of fun.”
