GOLD! | Yarn Spinning Mill
On Saturday, March 28, the third edition of GOUD will take place at Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij. During this annual, free festival, De Kunstmachine, Jeugdtheaterhuis, StudioGonz, and Netwerk Amateurkunst will jointly open the doors of the Garenspinnerij for a day filled with presentations, performances, and creative activities.
This year’s theme is KUNSTGELUK. This refers to those moments when art touches, surprises, and connects—a feeling that has been translated into a program full of encounters, wonder, and creativity. Performances, presentations, and creative activities can be experienced throughout the building. Music, theater, and visual arts come together in a program featuring surprising crossovers and contributions from creators and participants of all ages.
Crossovers
GOUD is aimed at a broad audience and showcases what cultural engagement can mean for people of all ages. The program is divided into the different themes of Dreams, Fun, Comfort, Radiance, Action, and Guts. Visitors can attend performances, meet creators, and participate in activities at various locations throughout the building. Different disciplines are combined in the process.
The Little Big Golden Happiness Cabinet
Our Little Big Golden Happiness Cabinet is open all day in one of our studios. A true pop-up museum featuring large-scale and captivating small works by the Gouda drawing and painting studio Palet, Kunstmachine students, and visitors to GOUD!
