"Marked by Life " is a photo exhibition in which young people share their personal stories through photos of the markings on their bodies. These markings can be interpreted in the broadest sense of the word: scars, tattoos, or both.
The young people write their own captions for the photos. Their experiences offer insight into personal struggles, life lessons, and memories, as well as the broader challenges facing society. Through the combination of images and poems, *Marked by Life* invites you to reflect on the journey these young people have taken. The past has shaped them, and they are striving for a future full of possibilities and growth. The stories showcase resilience, the power of vulnerability, hope, and the inexhaustible human spirit.

Opening hours: Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (No registration required)
Information SessionsBecause this is an important topic, we are also organizing information sessions for care providers, parents, and other interested parties, where personal experiences will be shared and information and tips will be provided.
When: Thursday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 17, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. at the Chocoladefabriek in Gouda
Guided TourGuided tours are also available upon request. After this exhibition, the photos will continue their “journey,” so they will also be on display at other locations throughout Midden-Holland.
