The new course season at Cultuurhuis Garenspinnerij is just around the corner. Following the fire last February, the cultural center on Turfsingel is now fully open again. Everyone is welcome to come take a look during the annual OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, September 6, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Now is the time to decide what you’ll do once the days start getting shorter. So be sure to visit the Open House, because together, Cultuurhuisgenoten De Kunstmachine and Jeugdtheaterhuis offer more than 200 courses for young and old, beginners and advanced students alike. From paintbrushes to the stage: here you’ll find plenty to do in the fields of visual arts, music, and theater.

" During the Open House, visitors can meet the instructors and take a look inside De Kunstmachine’s theater studios, music classrooms, and art studios. Join in on short visual arts workshops, take your first music lesson, and try out various musical instruments. Or take a trial lesson in musical theater or drama at Jeugdtheaterhuis. Stop by for performances by our choirs and view exhibitions featuring work by students and teachers. Several local amateur arts organizations will also be presenting themselves. And for those who decide quickly, there are special discounts on music lessons and visual arts specials that are valid only during the Open House on September 6. So come by, join in, and soak up the atmosphere!
