Every year, the Golda Archaeological Society organizes a book and record fair to raise funds for the society. Most books and records cost €1 or €2. This year, we’ve collected a particularly large number of special books (on Gouda’s history, art, novels, etc.), as well as many LPs, so it’s going to be a great opportunity to browse through some old-fashioned books and records!
This year, our lively market in the museum garden (Achter de Kerk 11) is scheduled for Thursday, May 14. This is Ascension Day, which falls during the first day of the Gouda Ceramics Days, so it’s a great opportunity to combine your visit with a stop by the potters on the Market Square.
In case of bad weather, the book market will be held indoors in Golda’s workspace. If the weather is nice, the market will also take place outdoors in the museum garden. Please check Golda’s website for updates: www.golda.org
